1. Introduction

Welcome to GeGo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GeGo mobile application ("App") and the carpooling services provided through it. By using GeGo, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use GeGo, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid driver's licence (for drivers)
• Have valid vehicle insurance (for drivers)
• Provide accurate registration information

3. User Responsibilities

As a Driver, you agree to:

• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
• Maintain a roadworthy vehicle
• Arrive at agreed pickup locations on time
• Not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs

As a Passenger, you agree to:

• Be ready at the pickup location on time
• Treat drivers and other passengers with respect
• Wear seatbelts at all times
• Not engage in disruptive behaviour

4. Cost Sharing

GeGo facilitates cost-sharing between passengers and drivers. Any contributions are to cover shared travel costs (fuel, tolls, parking) and do not constitute commercial passenger transport. GeGo does not charge commission on ride contributions.

5. Cancellations

We encourage users to honour their ride commitments. However, we understand that plans change. Please cancel rides as early as possible to allow others to make alternative arrangements.

Frequent cancellations may affect your account standing.

6. Limitation of Liability

GeGo acts as a platform to connect drivers and passengers. We are not a transport provider and do not assume liability for journeys arranged through the App. Users participate in carpooling at their own risk. We recommend passengers verify drivers' details and drivers verify passenger identities before starting journeys.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Use GeGo for commercial transport services
• Provide false or misleading information
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Engage in any illegal activities
• Share account credentials with others

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or receive consistent negative feedback from other users.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of GeGo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or email.
