How do I create a ride?
Tap the "Create a Ride" button on the home screen or in the "My Rides" section. Enter your pickup location, destination, date, time, and number of available seats. Set your price per seat and publish your ride.
How do I find a ride?
Use the "Find Rides" tab to search for available rides. You can search by location, date, or browse popular routes. Once you find a ride that matches your needs, tap to view details and book a seat.
How is the fuel cost calculated?
GeGo automatically calculates fuel costs based on your route distance, current fuel prices in your region, and the number of passengers. The cost is split fairly among all passengers, making your journey more affordable.
Is GeGo safe?
Yes, safety is our priority. All users are verified through email and phone number. We have a rating and review system so you can see feedback from other users. Always meet in public places and trust your instincts.
How do I become a driver?
When you create your first ride, you'll be prompted to enable driver mode. You'll need to provide vehicle details and verify your driver's license. Once verified, you can start creating and sharing rides.
What if I need to cancel a ride?
If you're a driver, you can cancel your ride from the "My Rides" section. If you're a passenger, you can cancel your booking from your bookings list. Please cancel as early as possible to allow others to find alternative rides.
How do payments work?
Currently, payments are handled directly between drivers and passengers. We recommend settling payment at the start of the journey. Future updates will include in-app payment processing for added convenience.
Can I get notifications for new rides?
Yes! Enable notifications in your app settings and set up saved searches. You'll receive push notifications when new rides matching your saved routes become available.
